Lacoste civil war

The green crocodile brand Lacoste was founded in 1933 by tennis champion Rene Lacoste. The main idea behind the brand was the production of simple athletic clothes, just like the ones tennis players wear, in bright colors and white, with a very minimal aesthetic. Polo shirts, skirts and trousers, shoes and perfumes all sportive and ready to wear. After 79 years of business and 1,6 billion euros a civil war broke out between Michel Lacoste and his daughter Sophie Lacoste-Dournel. Now Michel was ex- president of the brand and right after him, his daughter Sophie , who was keen on business management, took charge of the brand, something that Michel did not like at all. And just like that a civil war began between les grandes crocodiles. Sophie denying to leave the brand management to her cousin Beryl Lacoste-Hamilton, that Michel considers as the best progeny to run the family business, and father suing daughter for just that. Hatred or not I personally find the whole situation really pathetic. Crocodiles turning against each other for just a chair and money. No comments indeed.
