MI-RŌ f/w 2013-14 collection review + backstage.

Une Histoire Noctambule
Yesterday evening I had the honor to be present at the MI-RŌ defile for fall/winter 2013-14 thanks to gorgeous Vicky Kaya and her Fashion Workshop and I couldn't help but take some pictures for you to enjoy.

Under the creative direction of my future teacher Nikolas Georgiou, the talented designer duo, Dimitris Mastrokalos & Giannis Raptis presented a rather extraordinary collection inspired by the eternal elegance of the 70s and the romance of sensuality. Impeccably sewn and fluid/ figure hugging gowns, silk dresses with peek-a-boo lace cut outs and patterns driven by the early 20st century brocades, all accessorised by the amazing headpieces of Katerina Karoussos, exclusively for MI-RŌ. Quality fabrics, cut and design in black, grey, bright purple and blue, pale pink and deep green for women in a very Cathrine Baba mood, while for men the duo presented divinely tailored coats and suits in navy, black and grey shades.

Michalis Anousakis and his team were in charge of the j'adore slick hairstyles while M.A.C cosmetics provided a rather dark make-up look.

All guests were treated with Kerastase Paris goodies, while Fresh Pastry shops and Tsantali offered sweets and wine.

Stunning Vicky Kaya.
